Matt was burned by his ex-girlfriend, Helen; Hope is the sister of Helen & has had a secret crush on Matt for years. Matt & Hope run into each other at Daniel's bachelor party as she & some other women are the entertainment (only partially stripping/exotic dancing). Hope used to do some exotic dancing to pay her way thru college. The 2nd time they meet is a couple months later & from that point on they start seeing each other. This story is a HEA story with lots of sex scenes that you can read as a standalone; but it's much better to read the series because of all the other characters in the background. I read this book in 1 day & it was a very good book. I'm off to read book 4 now.Product details

I'll be honest, this book gave me all kinds of icks. Hope and Helen are sisters...and Matt once thought he would marry Helen...and now he wants to date Hope.
See? Icky. Intimate with both sisters...ick.
Once I got past the Helen part, the book was ok.
Thoroughly enjoying this great series with the Colman Family. This is Matt and Hope's story and what a story it is. True to form it is well written, interesting premise and great steamy scenes. As I previously noted if you are able to read the series in sequence do it! Although each one is a stand alone as the family wanders in and out of every book you will derive that much more pleasure from the story. Highly Recommend!
Matt Coleman has been struggling since his breakup with his deceitful ex. So he is really floored when he sees his ex's younger sister at his brother's bachelor party. When Hope sees Matt she is drawn to him but feels that because of what her sister did to him that he would not want anything to do with her. But a cold, snowy night and a bathtub says otherwise.
After a nasty ending with his high school sweetheart, the woman he thought he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and was willing to give her almost everything she asked for, Matt tells himself that single is good and his heart won't get hurt by playing the field and having fun.
Hope struggles to find her feet and stay afloat after her sister skipped town. The last thing she wants is to be the rebound for Matt but when the attraction is so high and things keep heating up. You can only fight it for so long.
I simply adore the six pack ranch series. I enjoy the struggles, the heat, the journey that they go thought, I love that at the base of these books the H and H are friends and lovers. Series recommended
I enjoyed reading the third book in the Six Pack Ranch series with the Coleman family. This book is about Matt and Hope, Matt is the third oldest of the six brothers, and Hope is the little sister of the first woman Matt spent all of his school days with, until she decided that she hated Rocky Mountain and wanted to move to the city, that was Helen. She broke Matt's heart they were together for over eleven years, when she decided after college she did not want the same things as Matt, she wanted more sexually and she wanted to experience it with more than one man at a time. So she was caught cheating on Matt on New Years Eve, he was devastated, he told her he never wanted to ever see her again, and she left Rocky Mountain and never looked back. It's been over a year since Helen left, and their at the local bar, having Daniels bachelor party, Matt's in charge and he hired dirty dancers, and one of them looks familiar turns out its Hope. she has just opened a quilt shop in town and since her sister left Hope is responsible for all the bills, and she's having a hard time making the payments on the store, the apartment, and all the product in her store. So she decided to take a job dancing so she can make her loan payments that are due Monday morning. Read this book it will make you laugh, and cry and definitely cum up a storm. Enjoy reading it!
Matt deserved a HEA after his heartbreak, and so did Hope, just for making all the right choices and staying true to herself. I'm so glad these two found each other.
And more than that, since it wasn't a head long rush into sex, it gave the readers a chance to see really good characters develop into a relationship meant for them.
Oh, don't get me wrong, it was plenty hot, but I'm also a fan of stretching out the anticipation until I'm actually praying for the two characters to hook up. And that's what we readers got, hot anticipation, Coleman Style.
Love that family.
It also gave Ms. Arend a chance to show us that she was able to use plot devices to further a story and make them important, and nit secondary thoughts. I felt like everything that happened, from the incident with Hope's car to coming face-to-face with someone from their past was truly dealt with, and not glossed over, as she's been apt to do in previous books.
Onto book 4.
Matt Coleman and Hope Meridan are the most unlikely pair in town due to Hope being the little sister of the woman that left Matt for big city living. Or so they both think until a little interest from a long time rival kicks Matt's protective gene into high gear. No way is he gonna stand by while Hope falls for someone else (heck if he knows why but who cares right) These two are so fun to watch dance around the lust in the room. Takes them both awhile to realize that they need to stop letting outside people influence their happiness and stop judging each other by their past. The bond they form is so genuine and strong from the get go that you just know they are building a forever.
